WHY DESIGN MATTERS

DESIGN IS MORE THAN HOW IT LOOKS

The collaborative process between an interior designer and an architectural designer is crucial for creating cohesive spaces that meet both aesthetic and functional needs. Collaboration is key throughout this process, as effective communication between the designers, the team and clients lead to a harmonious and functional outcome.

DESIGN PROCESS

DESIGN & BUILD, THE
ALL-IN-ONE SOLUTION

01: INITIAL CONSULTATION

Our Interior and architectural designers attend an initial meeting with the client to understand their vision, needs and timeline. We collect all the information about the intended use of the space, existing conditions, and any specific design preferences.

02: CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

Our team collaborates to discuss design concepts that consider both interior and architectural elements. We explore how interior design choices will complement architectural features. The architectural designer creates preliminary designs, focusing on the building’s layout and overall form. Concurrently, the interior designer develops initial interior layouts and design themes, including materials, finishes, and colour schemes.

03. COORDINATION AND
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Once the clients approve the concepts, both designers work on detailed plans. The architectural designer focuses on technical drawings and structural details, while the interior designer concentrates on space planning, furniture layouts, and finishes. We then update and include our construction team to implement the designs. We work together to ensure designs are executed as planned with regular site visits and open communication.
